Thom Browne continues its collaboration with architect Flavio Albanese of ASA Studioalbanese on the design of its newly opened store located on Albemarle Street in London’s exclusive Mayfair district. The 1500 square foot two-level store neighbors some of London’s most prominent art galleries and luxury retail boutiques.

Behind Browne’s signature slat blind covered windows, a refined palette of grey, black and white translates his austere American sensibility for the English city. Men’s and women’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections are displayed on the ground floor, while to the right of the entrance, a floating spiral staircase leads down to the lower level’s fitting rooms and seating area. The furniture here - and throughout the store - are by American and French designers including Dunbar by Edward Wormley, Paul McCobb, Jacques Adnet, and Maison Jansen. Taking inspiration for the strict store aesthetic from mid-century office interiors, details include metal slat blinds, rows of florescent tube lighting, polished white Calacatta and Carerra marble floors, and banker grey Bardiglio and Carerra marble clad walls.
